Goal of the logic game puzzle

In my free time, I am a puzzle maker. I developed this small but nice logic puzzle for entertainment purposes. You can download the puzzle below for free.

puzzle as a logic intelligence test

The goal of this puzzle is to put the four blue discs at the bottom and the red ones at the top. You can only move the discs in a diagonal way (see screenshot). Capture is not allowed and only one disc can sit at a square. Furthermore, you must move the different colors in turn, i.e. you move first a blue, then a red disc.

Puzzle as an intelligence quotient test

Test your intelligence with this game puzzle! Just download the free puzzle, unzip it in a separate directory, and start it from your Windows Explorer.

Compare your results with the table below. Can you improve your result the second time you play it?

number of moves IQ meaning
36 or higher below average (<100)
32-35 average (100)
28-31 slightly above average (100-115)
25-28 above average (116-130)
24 smart (above 130)

note: this test can give only a rough estimate of your nonverbal intelligence. It is not meant and should not be used as a professional or universal intelligence test score.
